Danish a capella vocal group - specialising in nordic vocal soundtradition and paying our tribute to the 90's dance hits in our own a capella way.
Local Vocal is a danish a capella choir with roots in Nordic sound traditions. The choir consists of about 25 happy singers of all sorts and ages including students, computer programmers, actors, teachers and retirees. None of us are professional singers.
The repertoire is wide and covers songs by new danish upcoming artists such as Hannah Schneider, Rasmus Walter and Julie Maria, and older classics like Leonard Cohen’s 'Hallelujah'.
Most of our current arrangements has been written by our former conductor and musical leader Anna Østergaard, including the famous '90’s Dance Medley' seen on YouTube.
We perform several concerts every season.
