Kirsten Sonne Grafic designer and designer of jewellery Jewellery My work shows a humourous and elegant decoration of the body, that goes for the fabulous and courageous people with no age. As a designer of jewellery my inspiration comes from high- as well as streetfashion, from the artworld and from other jewellery, modern and ethnic. I am interested in recycling and fascinated by upcycling, so that is why recycled materials inspire me and are the basic of my work. I do earrings, brooches, bracelets and necklaces. The found metals include bronze, copper - vertigrised and plain - brass and tin as well as acryl, plastic, pearls and beads found on fleamarkets and old car dumps. I rivet, sow, glue and solder. The used needles, earrings and catches are guaranteed free of nickel. All artwork is handmade and all pieces on off.
