Located in the heart of Copenhagen, Café Victor opened in 1981 and is inspired by the French café and brasserie culture . One of the best known cafés and restaurants in the Nordic region, Café Victor is recognized widely as a modern “icon” of Copenhagen’s restaurant and café community.

Offering large windows, facing charming and cozy side streets in Copenhagen’s central shopping area, Café Victor expresses an air of openness. An openness which is also practiced daily by Café Victor’s professional and friendly staff. Many guests of Café Victor appreciate the atmosphere and the personal level of service that we offer and have become regular customers. At Café Victor you will be presented with many choices. In the café area you can enjoy a cool drink or a coffee and if you are hungry you can order a choice meal from the café menu. If your preference is to enjoy gastronomic delights in our restaurant, our experienced waiters will guide you through the restaurant’s menu and wine list in a personal and professional manner.

Our kitchen, and this applies to Café Victor in general, is flexible and open to suggestions – and we will go far to satisfy special menu requests of our guests.

Over the years, many cafés and restaurants in Copenhagen have had to change addresses – but Café Victor is still here where we started 30 years ago – at corner of Hovedvagtsgade and Ny Østergade.
