At DTU Skylab, you will find prototype workshop, an event room for 80-90 persons, meeting rooms, work stations, lounge and kitchen. Furthermore, you are welcome to participate in the events that are held here.
Our workshop contains the following tools and equipment:
3D printer
3D scanner
CNC milling machine
Laser cutter
Lathe
MIG/MAG welder
TIG welder
Band saw
Drill press
Bench grinder and build grinder
and much more...
If you need help building a prototype or if you need instruction to a machine, then our workshop manager or one of our student workers will assist you.
Opening hours
Workshop: Monday-Thursday 8:30-18:00. Friday 8:30-15:30.
Office facilities: Open 24/7 (just use our student ID at the entrance).
