Chic Antique is a danish wholesale business (B2B) selling home decor to more than 55 countries. I started as a passion for uniqueness and authenticity which developed from a dream into a business. The dream started in southern France in the warm season – but not at the beach where most tourists are to find.

It all started at the countryside in the small villages where time in a way stands still. In small flea markets – or in French; brocante, which are a tradition in the French villages. In these small markets lovely old French items are hidden. Beautiful items which look just like “back then”. Time cannot remove uniqueness.

In all this, at the small French flea markets in the countryside in southern France, Chic Antique became reality. The beautiful items from the past deserved a future. This was the beginning of a passion which started a lifelong journey.

“Dreams must be lived out otherwise they stay dreams”. This is the designer and owner, Bente Kienast’s, philosophy. She is engage in every detail in every single collection.

Chic Antique was founded in April 2005 by Bente Kienast. Today Chic Antique has a big, ambitious and authentic range of interior which is faithful to the French country style. A unique and rustic style mixed with French romance. You can find all the lovely items in more than 20 countries.
