Sort/Hvid has over the past recent years formed a new profile wanting to understand social dynamics, psychological and political issues from a contemporary and social point of view.
The theatre is well-known for its controversial, political and uncompromising performances using cross-aesthetic methods and displaying on diverse platforms in reflecting contemporary social topics and debate. Founded by a willingness to question every aspect of the public debate, Sort/Hvid collaborates with a long list of theaters, festivals and art institutions both in Denmark and abroad.
Sort/Hvid has a long history, founded in 1972 as CaféTeatret.
